Most athletes know the importance of how to prepare for glory, I am not necessarily one of those individuals. Don’t get me wrong, I always want to win on tournament day but more times than not, fun gets in the way. Knowing this, I don’t try too hard by overthinking it, I know better. For me it comes down to your head and controlling your mental game. Face it, we all have amazing shots and if you can keep that thought in your head during the tournament you will play well. Of course that is easier said than done but all you need to do is get that stuck in your head: reset before every shot, breathe, and execute. Hopefully then you will have all the fun you need to never stop playing this game that will always give back when played properly between the ears.
